According to Wikipedia, a non-album single was released on July 7, 1967. The Beatles sang the song,"All you need is love." In 1973, the song "Love is the message" was released by Mother, Father, Sister, Brother (MFSB) within album content. It became a hit in 1974. MFSB featured vocalists of the Three degrees and written and composed by Gamble and Huff. I love both songs, but suffice to say MFSB is my favorite. It's like the National Anthem for the 50 and older party people of the American Black persuasion. In my book, LOVE will always be the message because Love is all you need!
