SPIRITUAL WELFARE

               “IF YOU DON”T BELIEVE IN SOMETHING, YOU WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING”

During these times, it is very difficult to believe in a “HIGHER POWER”  who is indeed an ALMIGHTY, WONDERFUL, AWE-INSPIRING, AMAZING, AND MAGNIFICENT ENTITY. But rest a sure that there is.

“Just because no one has seen a thing, does not mean that it has no existence or cannot occur. Honest scientists of real insight teach that there is a very great deal more even to physical existence and the material universe than that which we mortals can perceive with our limited senses. They admit that there may exist a realm which is not accessible to human awareness or bound by the limitations of the human intellect; it is utterly beyond human perception and remains HIDDEN or UNSEEN. The known material universe with which we are familiar, is like only the tip of the iceberg. The bulk of which remains hidden from our eyes.”                   Ruqaiyyah Waris Maqsood  

Because we live in such a diverse society, we have been altered in our way of thinking. The world has become polluted along with our cognitive thinking abilities. We don’t know what to believe anymore due to self-serving tactics derived by human inequities. A lot of very important rituals have been robbed from our society. One of the most important of all is “The Lord’s Prayer.” There was a time when it was recited by everyone in the school system before the start of day. It reminded us all, that there is a higher power.

Religious holidays have become more commercialized and less about God. Even though pagan holidays hold no truth, it at least gave everyone an idea that there is a Higher Power. It served the purpose of giving hope to us all. This ingredient is what is, and has been missing for so many decades. And as decades have come and gone, so has hope, love, and respect. Christmas and Easter are two of the biggest Christian religious holidays. There was a time that before anyone was able to open presents or eat eggs and candy, they went to church as a family and Praised the Almighty Heavenly Father. This act of faith has diminished quickly. It is a shame that many of the youth are clueless of it’s true meaning.

Parents are so busy working doing their best to make ends meet, and this is understandable. But during the midst of things, they are forgetting the vital artery of a well balanced family which is Jehovah (He who causes to become), or Allah (The only God). Depending on one’s upbringing, God is called by different names. Simple things such as breaking bread together at least once a week, has gone out of the window. Having a weekly family meal together holds so much importance and weight to the stability and balance of a family unit. Taking the time to interact with each other and find out what’s going on with each other is so very important. This brings about structure, strength and togetherness creating one whole bonding unit.

Before every meal, thanks must be given to our Creator. That in itself lets our children know and understand that there is a Higher Power. Attending church may not always be something that can be done due to personal responsibilities such as work. Nonetheless, prayer before meals with the family is a great step in the right direction. It is imperative that we all give praise and thanks for all of our Blessings. We are so much in a rush, that we literally do not “stop to smell the roses” daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Believe me, this is a Blessing all in itself. We are very fast to complain and are very reluctant to give “Thanks and Praise!”

Speaking for myself, I feel so Blessed to wake up daily of sound mind and body. I give Thanks to Jehovah daily, and many times, more than once a day.

I encourage everyone to seek the truth, for the truth shall set you free. There is no better feeling than the feeling of enlightenment. Once you realize that you truly are not alone, it gives you a sense of well-being and substance. Substance in the Greek ousia  states, “that which is one’s own, one substance or property; the being, essence, or nature of anything.” 2 Corinthians 9:4; 11;17 and Hebrews 3;14 in the Bible, describes substance as “confident or confidence.”

We must understand that there are two Gods, and there are two governments. This system of things (this world), is run by the opposer Satin the Devil. This is the reason why the world is in the shape that it’s in. This is the reason that deception and destruction is running prevalent at this time. Jehovah is a God of Love. Satan  breeds hate and confusion.

I am definitely not a preacher, but I am a sharer. Especially when it comes to the word of God. I myself am still learning, seeking, and taking in knowledge that is accurate. I realize that all information is not accurate, but I also realize when it is. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it’s a duck. My biggest desire is that, “Thy kingdom come, Thy Will be done, On earth, As it is in Heaven!” Humans; which happens to be Jehovah’s greatest creation, is destroying the earths purity due to the greed and passion for a “power” that they can never posses. The only creations that we can cause is something that has been already manifested by Jehovah. Whatever humans make or have made, has an ingredient from the nature of the earth.

If humans don’t quit while they are ahead, which they won’t, we are going to be the end of our existence. God made the earth, and He is not going to allow it to be destroyed.

I implore everyone to stop, look, listen, and discern what the facts of life pertain for a healthy way of life.

 There are only two little steps for total fulfillment, and they are as follows:

                  Matthew 22:37

1- Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

2- Love thy neighbor as thyself.

 If we all obey these laws, the world WILL be sooo much more peaceful and happy.
