We all need development in our lives. People, places, and things that take us to a higher positive level. Nine times out of ten, development takes you out of your comfort zone. However, it’s safe to say that “absolutely, the ends do indeed justify the means.”
At the beginning of 2020, {not so long ago}, I didn’t even know how to turn on a computer, let alone how to use one. Check out the knowledge that I have acquired thus far during my voyage of development and enlightenment. I must admit that I’m quite proud of myself!!!
Development is acquired by adding one ingredient at a time. But most importantly, knowing exactly what to do with the ingredient. KNOWING is half of the battle, but USING the ingredient proficiently brings forth the best results.
Development occurs throughout the stages of our life. It begins at conception, and ends with death. Living Entails Constant Development. If you don’t continually Develop, then you will live in a world of only Existence.
A wise friend of mine explained how to “Plant a New Years Garden”
A very good garden for each of us to plant in the New Year. I’d like to have a garden like this! It takes a lot of work, but has 100 fold in rewards!!!
GARDENING GOD”S GARDEN
Plant four rows of squash:
Squash gossip, squash indifference, squash grumbling, and squash selfishness.
Plant four rows of lettuce:
Lettuce be faithful, lettuce be kind, lettuce be obedient, lettuce really love one another.
No garden without turnips:
Turnip for meetings, turnip for service, turnip to help one another.
Water freely with patience, and cultivate with love.
There is much fruit in your garden, because you reap what you sow.
To conclude our garden, we must have thyme:
Thyme for GOD, thyme for study, thyme for prayer. Pass it on!!!
Anything that deals with development leads you out of your comfort zone. Which in turns means you learn something about yourself and even maybe someone else. I like that you stated in the beginning you were unfamiliar with a computer where as now you can do just about anything and that right there is your development!
I appreciate your comment. It is very true that I have come a long way with the use of computers which took me out of my comfort zone; however, its uses have become quite handy towards my development.
